How to add your email account to Mac mail
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to add your email account to Mac Mail.
By following these steps, you can easily set up your email account on you Mac and access emails through the Mac Mail application.
If you have not created your email account yet you can follow this guide https://pacwebhosting.uk/tech/hosting/cpanel/how-to-create-an-email-address/ to learn how to do that.
If you have already created the email account please continue.
Click “Mail” to open Mac Mail application on your Mac device.
While Mac Mail is open next click “Mail” in the top menu
Then click “Add Account…”
Choose the “Other Mail Account” radio button
Now click “Continue”
Next fill in your details: –
Your Name, Your Email Address and Password then click “Sign In”
On the next page enter your incoming and outgoing server details first before entering your Username.

Then enter your email address in the Username box, it says “Automatic” but it isn’t!
Now click “Sign In”
Next choose the apps on your Mac to use with this account (usually just Mail) then click “Done”
And that is your account added!
Click “Inbox” to view your emails.
Important Information:
In order to be able to add an email account you must have previously created the email account.
