Quite a lot — and it’s all done for you. When you order a Microsoft 365 mailbox plan, our team sets up your mailboxes, connects your own domain, and configures all the DNS records needed for your email to work reliably (including the security records that keep your mail out of spam folders). If you’re moving from another provider, we’ll migrate your existing email across too. You don’t need to touch any technical settings — you just tell us your domain and we handle the rest, so you’re up and running without the usual headaches.

It’s completely hands-off for you. Once your new mailboxes are ready, our migrations team copies your existing emails across from your old provider, checks everything has arrived safely, and helps switch your email over so nothing’s lost and there’s no gap in service. We manage the whole process from start to finish and guide you through the final switch — most people are surprised how painless moving email can actually be. Moving from Google Workspace or similar? We can usually bring your contacts and calendars across too — just let us know and we’ll confirm what’s possible for your setup.

MFA (multi-factor authentication), sometimes called 2FA (two-factor authentication), simply means signing in with something extra on top of your password — usually a quick tap or code from your phone. It matters because passwords alone can be guessed or stolen, but a thief would also need your phone to get in. It’s one of the single most effective ways to protect your email and business data, and it’s included on all our mailbox plans.

It means your email, contacts and calendar stay perfectly up to date everywhere you use them — laptop, phone, tablet, and webmail. Read an email on your phone and it shows as read on your laptop; add a contact or calendar appointment on one device and it appears on them all. Wherever you pick up, everything’s exactly where you left it, so you’re never juggling different versions of your inbox.

Yes, easily — and with no disruption at all. Because your Microsoft 365 tenant (where all your mailboxes and data live) isn’t tied to any one licence provider, moving to PAC doesn’t mean moving your email or data anywhere. You’ve got two simple options:

• Add to what you’ve got. Need a few extra licences? Just order them from PAC and we’ll add them to your existing tenant, alongside the ones you already have from another provider.
• Switch everything to PAC. Order licences to match what you currently have, we’ll add them to your tenant, and then you simply cancel the old ones with your existing provider once ours are in place.

Either way there’s no migration, no downtime, and no switching licences around for your users. That’s because Microsoft 365 doesn’t tie individual users to a specific provider’s licences — it just looks at how many of each type you hold in total.

For example: if you have 5 Exchange Online Plan 1 licences in use and order 5 from PAC, you’ll briefly have 5 in use and 5 spare — at which point you cancel the original 5, leaving you back at 5, now with us.

Absolutely. Microsoft 365 is billed per user, so you can add mailboxes as your team grows or reduce them if things change — just let us know and we’ll sort it. With 30-day rolling contracts and no tie-in, you’re never paying for more than you need.

It depends on what you need. If you just want professional email at your domain, Exchange Online Plan 1 is the place to start (Plan 2 doubles your mailbox storage). If you want email and the full Microsoft apps like Word, Excel and Outlook, choose Business Standard. And if you already have email sorted and only need the apps, Apps for Business is for you. For the mailbox plans, yes — professional email works from your own domain (like [email protected]), and we’ll help you connect one or register a new one if you don’t have it yet. The exception is Apps for Business, which is just the Microsoft apps and needs no domain or mailbox at all.
